Barbara Chiodo

FOUNDER


Barbara has over 20 years of experience in the theater industry, producing in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe, and working with Jermyn Street Theatre and Theatre503. Her background as an investment banker and Chief Financial Officer provides her with a unique financial and strategic perspective that she applies to every production.


After years of balancing a corporate career by day and producing by night, Barbara finally took the leap to become a full time Broadway producer (Back To The Future, Water For Elephants, Mean Girls, Gypsy, Operation Mincemeat and more). She credits her late friend and mentor, Steve Fickinger (The Lion King, Newsies), for encouraging her to pursue her passion for theater. 


Recognized for her transparency and ethical rigor, Barbara holds degrees from Bocconi University, an MBA from INSEAD, an MFA from Brooklyn College, and credentials from Columbia Business School and UCLA.


Barbara is an alumna of the Society of London Theater, Center Theater Institute, and Theater Resource Limited in Broadway, as well as an active member of the Broadway League. She lives in Los Angeles, with her husband and children, where she is active on the Los Angeles theater scene and she serves as Treasurer for the prestigious Ojai Playwright

Known for her transparency and prompt communication, Barbara's ethical training as a CFO shines through in her work on every aspect of a production. Her impressive education includes degrees from prestigious institutions such as Bocconi University, INSEAD, UCLA and Columbia Business School.
